Hey There!  

Thanks for vising our team page!  We were beyond meowstatic to be back in person in 2023, and as we continue our push to do more in '24, we are lacing up our shoes, doing our best cat-inspired stretches, and wiggling our tails into shape for Race for the Rescues on Saturday, October 5.  

This will be our thirteenth year participating in Race for the Rescues.  We are about as scared of the number 13 as we are of black cats - not at all!  ALL cats are beautiful, and every year that we have the honor of participating in Race for the Rescues is a wonderful year.   The shelter system in the Los Angeles area is in crisis mode, and we're doing everything we can to save as many cats and kittens as possible, and to do our part in nipping this problem in the bud by advocating for and helping to facilitate spaying and neutering via our SpayShip program!  We're working our tails off to stay true to our mission:  to transform the lives of homeless cats through rescue, sanctuary, and new beginnings. To learn more about who we are and what we do, please check our our website at heavenlypets.org.
