Santé D’Or Foundation (SDO) is a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue and adoption center in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. We focus primarily on the rescue of cats and kittens (plus occasional doggos!), along with a TNR program for the feral cat colonies in our area.

Team SDO is so excited to get our racing shoes on once again! This is our 11th amazing year taking part in the Race—bigger and better every year! Our team is composed of volunteers, staff, board members, adopters and foster families, and the very most important: Ernie’s Angels! Ernie’s is actually a small and determined group of our Junior Volunteers, banding together to raise funds as one, named in honor of one of our supporter’s beloved cat Ernie. Each year his benevolent memory serves as avatar and overseer of our Juniors in action. We can’t wait to see what they do this year!

We’ve set the ambitious goal for this year of $100,000. With your help and support, we know we can get there! 

In addition to donating, you can join our team at Race for The Rescues and directly raise funds to help save lives! By joining team SDO, you will get your very own personal fundraising page as part of our roster, and can help us to raise funds as a runner, walker, or even a couch potato! Please know that your tax-deductible donations to the team support the greater LA animal community, including the 50+ cats and kittens at our facility, the 100+ additional foster animals under our care, and the several hundred TNR cats we are able to help on a yearly basis.
