Queen's Best Stumpy Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit based in Southern California that specializes in rescuing special needs corgis from California’s shelters or from persons who need to re-home their dog due to a desperate situation. We place great emphasis on medical care and rehabilitating our dogs through socialization and behavior modification until a ”furever" home that matches their needs is found. We strive to find families that will be lifelong companions to our dogs and promote healthy human/canine relationships.
QBSDR was founded in September of 2013 by Susan Luong. At the age of seven, Susan was diagnosed with Juvenile Polymyositis, a rare autoimmune disease, causing her to spend most of her childhood and adolescence in rehabilitation at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. It was there that Susan connected with the visiting therapy dogs.
The welfare of these often misunderstood, whip-smart, and fluffy-butt corgis is near and dear to everyone that volunteers their time to QBSDR. On Saturday, October 12th, 2019 we will be participating in the 14th annual Race For The Rescues - Los Angeles. Together we have the power to help save lives! Please consider making a tax deductible donation towards my race. Together we have the power to help save lives! Please consider making a tax deductible donation towards my race. No amount is too small and will go towards saving and rehabilitating even more corgis.
Thank you for your compassion.
With much love and gratitude,
The QBSDR Stumpy Squad
