2025 started out very badly for our rescue.  The Eaton fire destroyed my home, and we lost 7 cats to the fire.  We initially were not able to get 8 cats rescued, but by some miracle, Nubby (the black/white cat in the picture above) was trapped 67 days after the fire and returned to us!  He was not harmed at all!  I have never been so happy to see any cat in my life!  And he is SO happy to be back with us.  We lost EVERYTHING in that fire and have had to try to replace all of our supplies, food, furniture and everything needed for the cats and ourselves.

Not only that, but the economy and the fires, and just everything seems so hard for everyone that many, many cats (and dogs) are being abandoned and turned into shelters, so rescues have been even more overwhelmed than they normally are.  The money we get from this fundraiser helps us to help more cats in some way, even if we cannot take them in.  We can help with food for people that cannot afford to buy it, and/or vet bills, so that they will not have to turn their cats in or abandon them.  We also will help with spay/neuter so that the cat population will not continue to grow.

So any amount that  you can donate will help us to continue helping cats.  Please also share with your friends, family, co-workers, or anyone that wants to help animals, so that they may donate as well.
