Santé D’Or Foundation (SDO) is a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue and adoption center in the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles. We focus primarily on the rescue of cats and kittens (plus occasional doggos!), along with a TNR program for feral cat colonies in our area.

Team SDO is excited to lace up our racing shoes once again. This is our 12^th year taking part in this amazing Race, and it continues to get bigger and better every year! Our team is composed of volunteers, staff, board members, adopters and foster families. We also have a separate team called Ernie’s Angels, made up of our Junior Volunteers, banding together to raise funds as one group, named in honor of one of our most fervent supporter’s beloved cat Ernie. 

We’ve set the ambitious goal for this year of $100,000. With your help and support, we know we can get there! 

In addition to donating, you can join our team at Race for The Rescues and participate in raising funds to help save lives. By joining team SDO, you will get your very own personal fundraising page as part of our roster, and can participate on race day as a runner, walker, or even a couch potato! We’d be grateful to have you join us, in whatever way works best for you. 

Please know that your tax-deductible donations to the team support the greater LA animal community, including the 50+ cats and kittens at our facility, the 100+ additional foster animals under our care, and the several hundred TNR cats we are able to help on a yearly basis.
