RACE FOR THE RESCUES 2009 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS BECAUSE OF ALL THE ANIMAL LOVERS OUT THERE WHO HAVE OPENED THIER HEARTS TO HELP ANIMALS IN NEED! THE SITE WILL CONTINUE TO EXCEPT DONATIONS BUT WILL NOT BE REGISTERING 2010 PARTICIPANTS UNTIL MARCH 2010.

Last year animal lovers came from all walks of life to make the third annual Race For The Rescues a huge success. They came to be the voice for homeless dogs and cats waiting for love in our city shelters. They came to celebrate & give the gift of life.
In the past three years, Race For The Rescues raised over $200,000 to help support seven non-profit rescue groups. Once again we are proud to say not one dog or cat from this adoption day went back to a city shelter to face euthanasia. Help us meet our goal this year to send those city shelter trucks back EMPTY!

Race For The Rescues is A 5K Run/Walk (dogs welcome)
or Kids Fun Run to benefit:
A Dog's Life Rescue, Animal Alliance, Best Friends Animal Society, Four Legged Friends Foundation, Molly’s Mutts & Meows, Stray Cat Alliance & The Rescue Train.
Each year, these seven non-profit animal rescues save, house, give medical treatment and find loving homes for
approximately 2,500 once-forgotten animals.
