Last year on Halloween weekend animals lovers came from all walks of life to make the second annual Race For The Rescues a huge success. They came to be voice for the homeless dogs and cats waiting for love in our city shelters. They came to celebrate & give the gift of life.
In the past two years Race For The Rescues raised over $150,000 to help support sevem nonprofit rescue groups and held adoption for two city shelters. We are proud to say not one dog or cat went back to the shelter to face euthanasia.

Race For The Rescues is A 5K Run/Walk (dogs welcome!) or Kids 1 Mile Race to benefit:
A Dog's Life Rescue, Angels In Fur, Animal Alliance, Best Friends Animal Society, Four Legged Friends Foundation, Molly’s Mutts & Meows & The Rescue Train.
Each year these 7 non-profit animal rescues save, house, give medical treatment and find loving homes for
approximately 1500 once-forgotten animals.
In the spirit of the Halloween weekend,
we encourage you and your dog to run or walk as your favorite animal or inspiration!
